　　 深圳市第三人民医院（南方科技大学第二附属医院）始建于1985年， 2010年12月医院整体搬迁至新院址—深圳市龙岗区，是由深圳市政府创办的一所大型现代化“强专科，大综合”的市属三级甲等传染病专科研究型医院。主要承担深圳市及周边港、澳、珠海、东莞、惠州地区的传染病与重大疫情的防控以及深圳市2000万市民的综合医疗服务。医院积极响应深圳市政府“东进战略”要求，以结核病为龙头，感染性疾病为强专科的大型三甲综合研究型医院，同时围绕 “一箭两翼、三支柱八支撑”建设方针，以国家结核病临床医学研究中心为核心，以感染病国家临床重点专科与器官移植中心建设两翼，以肝病、艾滋病、新发传染病及疑难感染病为支柱，全力建设八个综合专科为支撑，打造广东省高水平医院。
　　
　　 The Third People's Hospital of Shenzhen (Second Affiliated Hospital of Southern University of Science and Technology) was founded in 1985. In December 2010, the Hospital was relocated to Buji Lilang, Longgang District, Shenzhen. It is a large-scale modern municipal hospital of Class III Grade A for infectious diseases founded by the Shenzhen Municipal Government with the characteristics of “Strong Specialty and Comprehensiveness”. It is mainly responsible for the prevention and control of infectious diseases and major epidemic diseases in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, Macao, Zhuhai, Dongguan and Huizhou, as well as the comprehensive medical services for 20 million citizens in Shenzhen. Based on the requirement of "Eastward Development Strategy" of the Shenzhen Municipal Government, the Hospital takes tuberculosis as the leading subject and infectious diseases as the specialty. Focusing on the construction policy of “One Arrow, Two Wings, Three Pillars and Eight Supports”, it takes the National Tuberculosis Clinical Medical Research Center as the core, the National Key Clinical Specialties and Organ Transplantation Center for Infectious Diseases as the two wings, the liver diseases, AIDS, emerging infectious diseases and difficult infectious diseases as the pillars, and eight comprehensive specialties as the support, to build the medical highland of Guangdong Province.
　　
　　
　　
　　医院占地面积10万平方米，现有建筑面积21.5万平方米，2019年总床位达到1600张。改扩建二期工程完成后，医院总建筑面积超过43万平方米，总床位将达到2300张。是目前国内医院中设计较先进、设备配置较高的医院之一。现有员工1564人，其中高级职称283人，博士后20人，博、硕士380人。享受国务院特殊津贴专家2人，享受深圳市特殊津贴专家2人，省市学科带头人18人，现有博士研究生导师5人，硕士研究生导师30人。为南方科技大学第二附属医院、广东医科大学非直属附属医院、中山大学、武汉大学、湖北中医药大学博士及硕士研究生联合培养单位，南华大学实习基地。
　　
　　The Hospital covers an area of 100,000 square meters, with an existing building area of 215,000 square meters and a total of 1,600 beds. After the completion of the second phase of the reconstruction and expansion project, the total construction area of the Hospital will exceed 430,000 square meters, and the total number of beds will reach 2,300. It is one of the Chinese hospitals with advanced design and equipment allocation. It has 1,564 employees, including 283 with senior titles, 20 with post-doctoral degrees, and 380 with doctoral and master degrees. Among them, there are 2 experts with special allowances from the State Council, 2 experts with special allowances from Shenzhen, and 18 foregoers of provincial and municipal disciplines, and there are 5 doctoral supervisors and 30 master supervisors. It is the joint training unit for doctor and master students of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Southern University of Science and Technology, the Non-affiliated Hospital of Guangdong Medical University, Sun Yat-sen University, Wuhan University, and Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the internship base of Nanhua University.

　　 医院大力推动重点学科建设，先后建成包括感染病国家临床重点专科在内的15个国家及省市重点专科、重点实验室。感染病科成立于1985年，现有床位385张，由结核病科、肝病科、艾滋病科、传染病科、感染ICU、人工肝室、深圳市肝病研究所、广东省新发传染病诊治重点实验室等组成，下设有肝病、肺病、艾滋病、新发传染病4个医学中心。在32年的发展历程中，感染科以其独有的特色和优势不断发展壮大，综合实力处于国内同行列先进水平。2003年感染病科被评为广东省传染病特色专科；2005年肝病专业、艾滋病专业、结核病专业同时成为国家临床药物试验基地；2006年医院成为中国中西医结合学会传染病专业委员会的主任委员单位；2011年肝病、结核病和新发传染病同时获得深圳市临床重点专科；2011、2012年又分别获得广东省新发传染病诊治重点实验室与广东省中医传染病诊疗技术实验室。2013年感染科获得国家感染病临床重点专科、广东省感染性疾病临床重点专科，2018年医院获广东省高水平医院，并获得国家结核病临床医学研究中心（深圳唯一，广东省第三家）。目前已成为深、港、澳及珠、莞、惠等珠三角地区规模最大、设备最先进、功能最完善的感染病与传染病诊疗与研究中心。
　　
　　 The hospital vigorously promotes the construction of key disciplines, and has built 15 national and provincial key specialties and key laboratories, including national key clinical specialties for infectious diseases. The Infectious Diseases Department was established in 1985, with 385 beds. It consists of the Tuberculosis Department, the Liver Disease Department, the AIDS Department, the Infectious Disease Department, the infectious ICU, the Artificial Liver Chamber, Shenzhen Institute of Liver Diseases, and the Key Laboratory of Diagnosis and Treatment of Emerging Infectious Diseases of Guangdong Province. It has four medical centers for liver diseases, lung diseases, AIDS and emerging infectious diseases. In its 32 years of development, the Infectious Disease Department has been growing with its unique characteristics and advantages, and its comprehensive strength is at the advanced level of the counterparts in China. In 2003, the Infectious Diseases Department was awarded the Specialty of Infectious Diseases in Guangdong Province; in 2005, the specialties of liver diseases, AIDS and tuberculosis became the national clinical drug testing bases; in 2006, the Hospital became the member unit of the Infectious Diseases Committee of the Chinese Society of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine; in 2011, the liver disease, tuberculosis and emerging infectious diseases became the key clinical specialties in Shenzhen; In 2011 and 2012, it awarded the title of the Key Laboratory for Diagnosis and Treatment of Emerging Infectious Diseases in Guangdong Province and the Laboratory of TCM Infectious Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Technology in Guangdong Province respectively. In 2013, the Infectious Diseases Department was awarded the National Key Clinical Specialty of infectious Diseases and the Key Clinical Specialty of Infectious Diseases in Guangdong province. In 2018, the Hospital was awarded the High-level Hospital of Guangdong Province and the National Tuberculosis Clinical Medical Research Center (the only one in Shenzhen，the third one in Guangdong Province). At present, it has become the largest, most advanced and well-functioning center for the diagnosis, treatment and research of infectious diseases in Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Macao and the Pearl River Delta including Zhuhai, Dongguan and Huizhou.
　　
　　
　　 2003年医院共收治非典确诊病例46例，疑似病例390例。以预防性服药为主的综合性防治措施，实现了全院无一例SARS 病人院内死亡，600多名职工无一例院内感染的“深圳神话 ”。2006年通过有关特异性抗体免疫方法治愈深圳首例人禽流感患者，经验总结发表在《新英格兰医学》并被列入国家战略物质储备。2009年全球猪流感大爆发，全院收治了来自全球五大洲66个国家和地区的1166例甲流隔离观察患者。2013年至今我院共收治重症禽流感患者44例，借助感染病重点实验室平台，对全部患者实现了精准诊断，指导临床抢救治疗，病死率9.1%，远低于全国39.6%的病死率。
　　
　　 In 2003, 46 confirmed cases of SARS and 390 suspected cases were admitted to the Hospital. The comprehensive prevention and control measures based on preventive medication contributed to the "Shenzhen Myth" that no SARS patient died and no employees were infected in the Hospital. In 2006, the first patient of human avian influenza in Shenzhen was cured by specific antibody immunization. The experience summary was published in New England Medicine and listed in the national strategic material reserve. During the global swine flu outbreak in 2009, 1,166 isolated patients of H1N1 influenza in observation from 66 countries and regions on five continents were admitted to the hospital. Since 2013, 44 patients with severe avian influenza have been admitted to the hospital. With the help of the key laboratory platform of infectious diseases, accurate diagnosis has been achieved for all patients and clinical rescue and treatment has been guided. The fatality rate of the Hospital is 9.1%, which is far lower than that of 39.6% in the whole country.

　　2017年5月，深圳市第三人民医院正式获得广东省卫计委颁发的肝脏移植、肾脏移植“牌照”。医院现全力建设器官移植中心，并以器官移植工作为龙头推动医疗水平综合发展，打造医院核心竞争力。截止2019年7月，完成身后器官捐献和肝、肾器官移植手术共152例，在深圳市乃至广东省引起了强烈的关注和良好反响。
　　
　　In May 2017, the Third People's Hospital of Shenzhen was officially granted the "license" of liver and kidney transplantation issued by the Health Commission of Guangdong Province. The Hospital is now making every effort to build an organ transplantation center, and promote the comprehensive development of medical level with organ transplantation as the leading task, so as to build the core competitiveness of the Hospital. As of March 7, 2019, 114 cases of posthumous organ donation and liver and kidney organ transplantation have been completed in the hospital. All the OTPs have been in good condition, which has aroused strong concern and good response in Shenzhen and even Guangdong Province.
　　
　　
　　 2018年2月26日，深圳市第三人民医院、中国科学院病原微生物与免疫学重点实验室、华大基因、中兴网信-巴西FIOCRUZ基金会建立传染病预防与研究中心。中-巴将建立新发突发传染病信息共享网络、病原数据交互网络；中国分部落地在深圳市第三人民医院，负责流行性疾病如流感、基孔肯雅病、寨卡热、登革热、黄热病、奥罗普切热以及其他感染性疾病（例如结核病）的研究；巴西建成以中国自主知识产权设备为核心的检测实验室；巴西临床医院建立我国自主知识产权相关检测产品，抗感染病药物的推广验证实验室。
　　
　　 On February 26, 2018, the Third People's Hospital of Shenzhen, the Key Laboratory of Pathogenic Microorganisms and Immunology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Beijing Genomics Institute and the ZTE Netcom-Brazil FIOCRUZ Foundation established the Center for the Prevention and Research of Infectious Diseases. China and Brazil will establish the information sharing network for emerging infectious diseases and the interactive network for pathogen data. The China division, based at the Third People's Hospital of Shenzhen, is responsible for the research of epidemic diseases such as influenza, Chikungunya, Zhaika fever, dengue fever, yellow fever, Oropuche fever and other infectious diseases (such as tuberculosis). Brazil has built a testing laboratory with Chinese independent intellectual property equipment as the core. The Brazilian clinical hospital has set up a laboratory for the promotion and validation of anti-infective drugs and products related to intellectual property rights in China.
　　
　　
　　 2019年2月，深圳市第三人民医院、广东省防痨协会和广东省预防医学会共同主办了“粤港澳大湾区传染病防控合作发展研讨会”，探讨如何提高大湾区结核病和新发重大传染病防治能力及学术水平，建立传染病防控一体化体系。会上，深圳市第三人民医院联合了香港大学新发传染性疾病国家重点实验室、澳门大学健康科学学院签订协议，共同成立“粤港澳大湾区新发重大传染病应急防治医学研究中心”，联合粤港澳大湾区的28家医院、防控机构、高等院校作为中心的核心单位。
　　
　　 In February 2019, the Third People's Hospital of Shenzhen, the Anti-tuberculosis Association of Guangdong Province and the Preventive Medicine Association of Guangdong Province co-sponsored the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Seminar on Cooperation and Development of Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases" to explore how to improve the ability and academic level of prevention and control of tuberculosis and emerging major infectious diseases in the greater bay area and establish an integrated system of prevention and control of infectious diseases.

　　 作为深圳科研领头单位之一，医院设有深圳市肝病研究所，配套实验室面积4682㎡，建设有BSL-3实验室和SPF级动物室，其中生物安全二级实验室面积3900㎡，BSL-3实验室391㎡，动物实验室391㎡，为全市医院所独有。购置的科研设备总价值超过2亿。包括illumina事代高通量测序仪、Sequenom Massarray生物芯片质谱系统、Zeiss共聚焦显微镜、高效液相色普仪、超速离心机、磁珠细胞分选器、激光显微切割仪等。建立完善了高通量MassARRAY核酸分析平台、细胞免疫分析技术平台、分子生物学技术平台、实验动物技术平台，在满足自身研究需要的同时技术平台还对国内的科研院所进行开放服务，实现了资源和技术共享。实验室先后与国外著名学府、研究机构进行合作交流，其中包括美国国立卫生研究院（NIH）、美国麻省大学医学院（UMASS）、美国Trudeau研究所、美国Tufts大学以及澳大利亚悉尼大学等。
　　
　　
　　 As one of the leading scientific research units in Shenzhen, the Hospital has Shenzhen Institute of Liver Diseases, with a supporting laboratory area of 4682m2 and it has the BSL-3 laboratory and the SPF-level animal laboratory. The second-level laboratory of biosafety covers an area of 3900 m2, the BSL-3 laboratory covers a total of 391 m2 and the animal laboratory covers a total of 391 m2, unique to Shenzhen's hospitals. The total value of scientific research equipment is over RMB 200 million. The equipment includes the Illumina Solexa Genome Analyzer, Sequenom MassArray Biochip Mass Spectrometry System, Zeiss Confocal Microscope, HPLC, UCF, Magnetic Bead Cell Sorter, Laser Microdissector, etc.

　　近5年来，医院先后承担国家重大科技专项24项，国家、省自然科学基金33项，累计获得科研经费超过4亿元。2012年感染病科引进的香港大学“新发传染病研究团队”获深圳市“孔雀计划”资助（2500万元）。2015年获得深圳市卫生系统首个国家自然科学基金杰出青年基金。先后获得国家“十二五”传染病重大科技专项分课题18项，国家“十二五”传染病重大科技专项牵头1项。近5年共发表SCI论文200篇，累计影响因子超过1000分，包括国际顶尖杂志《N Engl J Med.》、《Science》、《Nature》、《Lancet》、《Nat Genent》、《PLoSPathog》等论文10余篇。国家、省、市级奖项9项，获得发明专利9项。
　　
　　In the past five years, the Hospital has undertaken 24 major national science and technology projects and 33 national and provincial natural science funds, and has accumulated more than RMB 400 million in scientific research funds. In 2012, the "Emerging Infectious Diseases Research Team" of the University of Hong Kong introduced by the Infectious Diseases Department was funded by the Peacock Program of Shenzhen (RMB 25 million). In 2015, the Hospital was awarded the First National Natural Science Foundation Outstanding Youth Fund of Shenzhen Health System. It has obtained 18 sub-projects on major scientific and technological projects of infectious diseases in the 12th Five-Year Plan and 1 leading project on major scientific and technological projects of infectious diseases in the 12th Five-Year Plan. In the past three years, more than 200 SCI papers have been published, with a cumulative impact factor of over 1000 points. More than 10 papers have been published in top international magazines such as N Engl J Med., Science, Nature, Lancet, Nat Genent, PLoSPathog and so on. The Hospital has also won 9 national, provincial and municipal awards and 9 invention patents.
　　
　　
　　 2018年，医院在学科建设方面突飞猛进，在自然出版集团以指数方式发布的 “中国医院自然指数”排名全国第87位；在中国医学科学院发布的26个专科科技影响力排名中，结核病学排名全国第6位，传染病学排名全国第21位。
　　
　　 In 2018, the Hospital made great progress in discipline construction, ranking 87th in the Natural Index of Chinese Hospitals published by the Natural Publishing Group in the form of index. Among the ranking of 26 science and technology influence specialties released by the Academy of Medical Sciences, the science of tuberculosis ranks 6th in China and the science of infectious diseases rinks 21st in China.

　　未来五年，医院将以打造广深医疗高地高水平医院为要求，依托结核病国家临床医学研究中心平台，建成粤、港、澳及珠三角地区集医疗、科研、教学与预防保健于一体，国内一流、国际先进水平的现代化三级甲等研究型医院。一方面将以需求为导向，发挥区域协同作用，系统加强临床科研资源共建共享，推动生物样本、医疗健康大数据等资源的高效整合利用，尤其是结核病领域在三年内建成国内第一、世界一流的结核病综合学科。另一方面继续引进高端人才，加快人才“走出去”步伐，培养临床研究专业人才，加强对医学科技领军人才和优秀创新团队的培养，培养一批高素质的与世界水平接轨的科研领军人才和创新团队。在器官移植事业上，强有力引进和培养器官移植学科专家团队，夯实学科内涵，全面铺开建设医院器官移植事业，争取2019年达到国内先进水平，进入大器官移植医院第一方阵。同时，医院还将积极开展疾病防控领域国际科技交流与合作，将与华大基因、中兴通讯、腾讯、迈瑞等一批深圳本地优秀企业和深圳出入境检验检疫局单位合作，推进重大疾病国际科技合作研究网络的建设，打造国际化临床科研攻关团队，以建设结核病国家临床医学研究中心为契机，对标最高最优最好，推动深圳医疗走出国门。
　　
　　In the next five years, in order to build a high-level hospital in Guangzhou-Shenzhen Medical Highland, relying on the platform of National Clinical Research Center for Tuberculosis, the Hospital will be built into a first-class modern research hospital of Class III Grade A in China and internationally, integrating medical treatment, scientific research, teaching and preventive health care in Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao and the Pearl River Delta. On the one hand, the Hospital will be demand-oriented, play a role of regional synergy, systematically strengthen the joint construction and sharing of clinical research resources, promote the efficient integration and utilization of biological samples, medical and health data and other resources, and especially build the leading domestic and world-class comprehensive discipline of tuberculosis within three years in the field of tuberculosis. On the other hand, the Hospital will continue to introduce high-end talents, speed up the pace of "going out" of talents, train clinical research professionals, strengthen the training of leading medical talents and excellent innovation teams, and cultivate a number of world class high-quality research leading talents and innovation teams. The Hospital will introduce and cultivate the team of experts in the field of organ transplantation, consolidate the connotation of the discipline, and comprehensively develop the cause of organ transplantation, so as to reach the advanced level in China and become one of the large hospitals of organ transplantation in 2019. It will also actively carry out international scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation in the field of disease prevention and control. It will cooperate with a number of excellent local enterprises in Shenzhen such as the Beijing Genomics Institute, ZTE, Tencent and Mindray, and Shenzhen Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau to promote the construction of international scientific and technological cooperation research network for major diseases and build an international clinical research team. Taking the opportunity of building the national clinical research center for tuberculosis, the Hospital will set the highest standard, and promote Shenzhen Medical Service internationally.
